REA North in Koprivnica held the 2nd nZEB training

Regional Energy Agency North continued with the implementation of the nZEB Ready project, holding the 2nd nZEB training on November 22 and 23, 2023, at the Public Open University in Koprivnica, Croatia, focusing on the topic “Calculation of Thermal Bridges.”

The training was organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Zagreb and the Public Open University Koprivnica, with the aim of informing and educating professionals, including engineers and designers, as well as the general public interested in the subject.

The training content was led by Bojan Milovanovic, a professor from the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Zagreb, and Mergim Gasi, a senior assistant at the Department of Materials at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Zagreb.

Their presentations covered topics such as heat transfer in buildings, types and methods of quantifying thermal bridges, and how to reduce their impact.

Emphasis was placed on the importance of avoiding or minimizing the effect of thermal bridges during the design and construction phases.

Upon completion of the training, participants were awarded points and received a Certificate of Completion as part of their professional development.

The next nZEB training, focusing on renewable energy sources, is scheduled for November 29 and 30, 2023, and will be conducted through the MS Teams platform.
