On 21st September, together with our partners, we held the 3rd consecutive meeting of the National Qualification Platform on the CRO skills RELOAD project, which was attended by a total of 31 representatives of project stakeholders. One of the main topics of the meeting was how to establish a better education system to overcome existing barriers and contribute to the realization of the set goals by 2030.
We had the opportunity to hear a very interesting presentation by Mr. Ivo Tunjić from the Agency for Vocational Education and Training (AVET). AVET, in cooperation with secondary vocational schools, completed long-term and extensive work on the modernization of vocational education schools’ curricula in the fields of construction, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. The new curricula are adapted to the latest requirements of green construction and nZEBs, with the aim of increasing the number of students in vocational education schools in the future and making it attractive.
At the platform meeting, the experts present proposed numerous general, legal and technical measures for improving the current situation in the field of training. All this will contribute to the better creation of the main result of this project – National Roadmap to overcome identified barriers and skills gaps.
