On December 7 and 8, 2023, in the premises of the Technology Park Varazdin, Regional Energy Agency North, in collaboration with the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Zagreb, City of Varazdin, and the Society of Civil Engineers and Technicians of the City of Varazdin, conducted a training module on the topic of testing building airtightness.
The participants of the training module were designers, engineers, and the broader interested public.
In the introductory part of the training, they learned about methods for assessing building airtightness and conducting Blower-door tests, with practical examples of energy losses.
In the second part, topics such as equipment for Blower-door, solutions for airtightness, the application of thermal cameras in detecting air leaks, and the use of Blower-door devices in large buildings were presented.
The training concluded with a practical segment involving testing the airtightness using Blower-door devices.
The training in Varazdin was part of the activities of the nZEB Ready and BUSGoCircular projects, funded by the HORIZON2020 program.
Upon completion of the training, participants were awarded certificates and earned professional development points.
