Regional Energy Agency North (REA North) continues its knowledge transfer on the innovation procurement at the international level.
Following the September training in Portugal, Denis Premec, project manager at REA North, conducted the introductory webinar on fundamentals of public procurement of innovation on December 12, 2023 for the representatives of Slovenian public authorities. The webinar was organized by the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia.
The webinar was attended by more than 20 representatives of public institutions who wanted to learn about the entire process of innovation procurement, from defining needs to the market engagement and concluding a contract.
The webinar placed a special emphasis on the phase of preparing the innovation public procurement process, providing a concrete approach with advice on preparation, implementation, and an example of a successfully executed innovation public procurement process, including its documentation and the ultimate innovative solution.
We are already preparing for the next similar webinar in January 2024, which will be aimed at bidders at supply side.
