REA North

Regional Energy Agency North (REA North) is a public non-profit institution founded in 2009 as part of the Intelligent Energy Europe Programme, which operates mainly in northern Croatia and other parts of the country.

The agency comprises twelve experts from different fields: project management, energy efficiency, building construction, electromobility, as well as advisory and other supporting services. Their knowledge and skills in the public procurement field help interested stakeholders in the energy transition and future challenges.

REA North partners with local and regional self-government units, public sector institutions, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, citizens, and other interested stakeholders. We provide professional support in implementing ambitious sustainable development goals.

REA North participated in the sixth nZEB Ready project meeting in Bucharest

On March 20th and 21st, 2024, in Bucharest, Romania, employees of REA North participated at the sixth project meeting of the nZEB Ready project partners.
The sixth project meeting was hosted by the Romanian partner UTCB and was held under the working title “Enhancing Market Readiness for nZEB Implementation,” gathering representatives from eight project partners.

REA North held a training session in Cakovec on air permeability in buildings

The training was organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Zagreb, the Medjimurje Energy Agency, and the Association of Civil Engineers and Technicians of Medjimurje, and it brought together designers, architects, technicians, workers, and other interested parties from the wider area of Cakovec and Medjimurje.
