REA North representative Zvonimir Perko held a workshop on the application of augmented reality technology to citizens on energy topics.
More precisely, he presented an interactive game of sustainable augmented reality of the City of Koprivnica, which was created as part of the Green AURA project.
The game was presented to stakeholders from the Quadruple helix model (public administration, educational institutions, citizens, and entrepreneurs) interested in new technologies and participating in additional activities in that area.
Additionally, Zvonimir presented the possibilities of using augmented reality for different needs and application possibilities for each stakeholder.
After that, he introduced the audience to the Equinox XR application, with which citizens can participate in a location augmented reality game at 14 locations around the City of Koprivnica (List of AR locations – Green AURA – Google My Maps).
The game is structured so that mascot, whose name is Mirko Recikrilko introduces users to content related to energy, energy efficiency, recycling, renewable energy sources, etc.
To further encourage citizens to download the application, visit all locations in the city and learn something new about energy, prizes are prepared for the most skillful players!
The project “Setting up cooperation of GREEN Communities with Augmented Reality Assisted living labs” (Green Aura) is financed by Interreg V-A Hungary-Croatia Co-operation Programme 2014-2020.
