Regional Energy Agency North, in collaboration with the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the University of Zagreb, the Croatian Association of Civil Engineers, and with the support of the Croatian Green Building Council, held another online training session on May 17, 2024, following the one on April 18, 2024, which also gathered over 70 participants.
This event reaffirmed the significant interest in the topic of bioclimatic design.
The training was conducted as part of the activities from the nZEB Ready project, under the Horizon2020 program for professionals in the fields of construction and architecture.
Participants benefited from the lecture by Professor Bojan Milovanovic from the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Zagreb, where they learned about the definition and key features of bioclimatic design, as well as concepts such as bioclimatic buildings, green roofs, healthy living, smart materials, and the principles of designing according to the nZEB standard versus the principles of bioclimatic design.
