Check out the new website for EUCityCalc project

As part of the EUCityCalc project, a new project website was presented. The above project aims to support cities in developing and implementing the green transition towards climate neutrality.

The project will support cities in developing a clear and concrete plan for climate neutrality.

For this purpose, through the previous EUCALC project, a promising EU Calculator tool was developed, which the partners of the EUCityCalc project will upgrade to enable support for local self-government units in achieving climate neutrality.

EuCityCalc is a web tool designed to help cities make decisions and implement their climate strategy, enabling them to visualize and simulate low-carbon scenarios.

A simple interface allows local governments and stakeholders to assess the implications and trade-offs associated with implementing mitigation measures. For example, what is the potential for reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the construction sector due to increasing renewable energy sources.

EUCityCalc will support ten pilot cities in developing and implementing projects to achieve climate neutrality: Riga, Dijon Métropole, Mantua, Zdar, Palmela, Sesimbra, Setubal, Koprivnica, Varazdin, and Virovitica.

Furthermore, the project will bring together a wide range of cities in different stages of transition but united in their efforts to achieve climate neutrality.

You can find the website and the EUCity Claculator at this link.
