Within the scope of the project Climate Action Zlatibor the representatives of REA North Denis Premec, Jurica Perko, and Zvonimir Perko visited on September 13, 2022 Competence center for energy transition and climate change in the Zlatibor region in Uzice.
They successfully conducted the third master class training for associates from the Competence Center on simulating and dimensioning photovoltaic power plants, and they shared their experiences in that area.
This will enable the Competence Center to provide technical support to citizens and public institutions in Uzice and the municipalities of the Zlatibor region in the future when investing in photovoltaic power plants.
At the same time, REA North conducted a second expert mission at the Competence Center to review the progress of the Climate Action Zlatibor project and coordinate further joint activities.
The Competence center for energy transition and climate change in the Zlatibor region in Uzice was established by Zlatibor Regional Development Agency, with the help of REA North.
The Climate Action Zlatibor project aims to establish long-term conditions for the development and strengthening of the capacities of the Regional Development Agency Zlatibor (RRA Zlatibor) and its stakeholders for energy transition and sustainable development in the Zlatibor region and to strengthen capabilities in the field of climate change mitigation in the Zlatibor region and Northern Croatia, all with the exhaustive support and mentorship of REA North.
The project is implemented as part of the EUKI (European Climate Initiative) program and is co-financed by GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit).
